What happens at your first appointment, step by step

We listen to you: what worries you about your smile or your bite and what you expect from treatment.
Examination of your teeth, bones, gums, bite and temporomandibular joint.
Photos of your face and teeth.
Intraoral scan: your teeth in 3D in a few minutes, with no impressions.
X-ray: panoramic or CBCT (in 3D), depending on your case, at the clinic itself.
Your options and your quote: we explain which treatment suits you (aligners, braces or others), how long it may take, and you leave with your quote the same day, with no obligation.

How long it takes and how much it costs

The first appointment takes about 30 minutes and costs €30. If you then decide to go ahead, we book your appointment to start.

What to bring

Any X-rays, MRI scans or reports from other doctors, if you have them.
If you wear night-time retainers, aligners or a splint, bring them, worn or in their case.
If the appointment is for a minor, they should come with a parent or legal guardian.

Opening hours: Monday and Tuesday 9:30-18:00, Wednesday and Thursday 9:30-20:00, Friday 9:30-14:30.

By bus: EMT lines 7 and 15 run along Avenida Sor Teresa Prat.

By metro: the nearest station is El Torcal (Málaga Metro Line 2), about a 7-minute walk away.

Do I get my brace or aligners at the first appointment?

No. The first appointment is an assessment: we study your case, explain the options and give you a quote. Treatment starts at another appointment, whenever you decide.

Is the first visit uncomfortable?

No. The examination, the photos and the intraoral scan are painless, and the scan replaces traditional impressions.

Do I need an X-ray before coming?

No need. If your case requires one, we take a panoramic X-ray or a CBCT at the clinic itself. If you already have recent X-rays, bring them.

What if I decide not to start treatment?

That is fine: the quote comes with no obligation. Take your time to think it over and write to us with any questions.
